The books

The texts on Litfy are in the public domain in the United States. Copyright laws differ between countries; you are responsible for checking that your use is allowed where you live. Texts are provided as they are, without any guarantee of accuracy or completeness.

What belongs to Litfy

The Litfy name, logo, website design, cover artwork, editorial descriptions and software are owned by Litfy and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Your account

Keep your login details private and let us know if you suspect misuse. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service, for example by attempting to disrupt it or scrape it at scale.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to harm others.

Paid features

Reading Litfy is free. We may in the future offer optional paid features, donations or memberships. Any such offer will be clearly described, with its own terms and prices, before you pay anything. The public-domain books will remain free to read.

Liability

Litfy is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
